You can make this tart without the orange oil, but it tastes like Terry’s chocolate orange with it! Dark chocolate with sunshine feels.
To make the tart base, pulse the cashews, salt, dates, ginger and cacao powder in a food processor until the cashews and dates have broken down and the mixture is starting to stick together. Add the melted coconut oil and blend for a minute or so more until a dough forms. Spoon the dough into the tart pan and press down firmly to cover the bottom and sides.
