  • 1 large onion
  • 3 tomatoes


Soak the lentils overnight and then put them to boil, with just sufficient water, until they are cooked (1½-2 hours).

Heat the olive oil in a thick pan. Chop the onions, skin and quarter the tomatoes, remove the seeds from the pimentoes and chop them, crush the clove of garlic with a little salt, and put all these ingredients to cook gently in the oil. Add the sausages and then put in t
