Though unorthodox, here’s probably one of the best things you can do with the old Brussels. The delicious sweet sauce lends vibrancy to the dish and makes it utterly addictive. Serve with hot steamed rice.

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp sweet chilli sauce
  • tbsp soy sauce

Method

First marinate the tofu. Whisk together in a bowl the chilli and soy sauces, 2 tablespoons of the sesame oil, the vinegar and maple syrup. Cut the tofu block into 1cm thick slices and then each slice into two squarish pieces. Gently stir into the marinade and set aside.
