These light, fried cookies are a favorite for special occasions such as Christmas Eve, Easter, or other celebrations. They are quite elegant, making them a perfect addition to your list of holiday treats. The dough itself is not sweet; most of the sweetness comes from the powdered sugar sprinkled on just before serving. These cookies are very light and fragile because of the kneading process which injects air into the dough. Pile them high and watch them disappear.
