  • 4 slices of white bread
  • butter for spreading
  • 2 slices of ham

Method

Find a cutting board, a kitchen knife, a fork and a table knife for spreading the butter. You will also need a shallow dish or soup plate for dipping the sandwiches and a frying pan for cooking them. A fish slice is useful for turning the sandwiches over and for lifting them out of the pan. Since these must be eaten hot and newly cooked, put two serving plates to warm and have knives and forks
