  • juice of 1 lemon
  • 4 large artichokes
  • about 1⅔ cups (


Fill a bowl with water and add the lemon juice. One at a time, trim the artichokes, but remove the stems, and immerse them in the lemon water. When all the artichokes are trimmed, drain and let dry.
