Method

  1. Preheat the oven to moderate 180°C (350°F/Gas 4). Peel the potatoes, cut them into cubes and place in a pan with the milk. Season with salt and freshly ground black pepper.
  2. Bring the mixture to the boil, then remove from the heat. Transfer to a
