This is an attractive and hearty way to serve potatoes. The deep cuts in the potatoes cook into crisp layers, beneath an appetising topping of browned breadcrumbs and cheese. Serve hot with roasted beef, lamb, game or poultry.

Ingredients

  • 6 evenly sized potatoes
  • 30 g (1 oz) unsalted butter
