Method

Prepare Chinese Sesame Cookies, but substitute whole natural almonds (skin on) for the sesame seeds. Place the balls of dough about 2 inches (5 cm) apart on sheet pans lined with baking paper or Silpats and press a whole almond firmly into the top of each cookie. Brush egg wash over the top of the cookies, covering the almond as well. Bake as directed.
