Everyone needs a small supply of wholegrain mustard and this one is very easy to make. Serve a dollop with grilled steaks, spread on your cheese sandwich, or add to dressings and marinades. Its uses are endless!

Ingredients

  • 50 g/ oz yellow mustard seeds
  • 25 g/1

Method

  1. Put the yellow and black mustard seeds in a bowl and add the vinegar. Cover and leave to soak at room temperature for 24 hours.
  2. Sterilize enough small, wide-necked jars with non-metallic, vinegar-proof lids, or preserving jars, so that they are ready to use.
