Syllabubs are in the same light and creamy dairy desserts category where sabayon and fools like to hang out. A syllabub is different than a sabayon in that there is no egg, only wine and citrus flavoring the sweetened cream. It is different from a fool, which is plain whipped cream with an equal part of fruit added in. All of these sound kind of bad on paper, but are really delightful to eat and dead simple to prepare.
