Look for Thai coffee powder in one-pound cellophane-wrapped packages in Asian markets. Its peculiar but pleasing flavor comes from roasted corn and roasted sesame seeds. Thai iced coffee is served sweetened with sugar and topped off with a luxurious layer of evaporated milk or half-and-half.
