  • About

Uzbek Samsas are savoury triangular pastries that are popular in Uzbek cuisine and other Central Asian countries. Similar in shape to an Indian samosa, it features a thicker, bread-like crust. Like in an Indian samosa, the filling for samsas can vary, but it is usually made with spiced minced meat (beef, lamb, or chicken) and onions. Some variations also include pumpkin, potatoes, or other vegetables. The exterior has a satisfying crunch, while the interior layers absorb the flavourful meat
