Shirazi Salad, or Sālād-é-Shirāzi, is a traditional Persian salad from the city of Shiraz in southern Iran. It’s a refreshing and simple side dish that combines diced cucumbers, tomatoes, onions, and fresh herbs like mint and coriander. Though often dressed with a mixture of lemon or lime juice, salt, and pepper, the traditional dressing uses ab-ghooreh, a sour grape juice that can be hard to find outside of Iran.
