This is a simple but effective party piece. Chunks of bread or fruit of your choice may be dipped into the fondue. Ripe Williams pears, strawberries, fresh pineapple chunks, pieces of banana, nuts or brioche all work well. If you have an official fondue set, use it; otherwise, a pan or bowl will do nicely.
Make a ganache with the chocolate, cream and milk as. The ganache can be prepared in advance and reheated patiently over a double boiler, or with extreme caution over the lowest heat possible – it’d be a shame to burn it. Using fondue forks or satay sticks, simply dunk the pieces of bread, fruit, nuts or marshmallows into the mixture and devour.
