  • Noilly Prat dry white vermouth
  • lots of ice cubes
  • cocktail olives or onions and/or strips of lemon peel (optional) or crushed ice

    Method

    Make the chocolate gin or vodka, according to your preference, by melting the chocolate and pouring into the bottle (you may have to drink a little to make some room), resealing and shaking vigorously.

    To make the chocolate martinis: in a cocktail shaker mix 2 parts vermouth to 1 of chocolate vodka or gin, with lots of ice.

    Shake or stir, according to preference, and serve in chilled martini glasses, with cocktail olives or onions and/or strips of lemon peel or just crushed ice, if you feel like it.
