Kalamari is a Greek Island staple, usually served simply with just a few spices..

We use the freshest squid, and grill it until tender.


  • 750 g fresh squid, cleaned
  • 100 ml olive oil


  • Make the marinade:. Blitz together all the ingredients in a blender or liquidizer until smooth. Season to taste and set aside.
  • Prepare the squid. Using a sharp knife, cut the body piece (mantle) into two down the middle then score a criss-cross pattern on the outer side of the flesh. Cut the flesh into 3cm square pieces.
