Time to marinade is all that is required for this easy recipe, and fine weather for the BBQ.


  • 500 g Greek yoghurt
  • 3 cloves of garlic, finely chopped or grated
  • Juice of


  • Place all the ingredients in a large bowl and combine well using clean hands.
  • Cover the bowl with clingfilm and place in the fridge overnight or for at least 6 hours to allow the flavours to develop.
  • Thread the chicken onto 6–8 skewers. Discard the marinade.
  • Cook the chicken skewers over medium-hot coals or under a preheated medium-heat grill
