Baked Beans

  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 garlic clove, crus

Method

Baked Beans

  1. Fry the onion in the olive oil until slightly browned, add the garlic, chilli (including the seeds), cumin, mustard powder, tomato purée, pepper and gently cook for 5 minutes.
  2. Add the chicken stock followed by the beans, gently stir and warm through. Remove from the heat and add a squeeze of lemon juice.
