Ingredients

  • 100 g Le Puy lentils
  • 200 ml water
  • 1 carrot

Method

  • Rinse the lentils, put 150 ml of water in pan, add the lentils carrot and shallot. Bring to a simmer and cook over a medium heat until soft, topping up with water from time to time. Once cooked and cooled quickly, lentils will keep for up to 5 days in the fridge.
