I have a thing for Asian food, specifically noodles. I could eat them every day, either stir-fried, in a broth or in a salad like this one. We didn’t eat much pasta growing up and when we did it was always in a salad. I was introduced to Asian noodles by a Japanese chef who lived in Paarl. He was married to a local girl and had a small Asian restaurant that I used to go to so that I could slurp some noodles.
