Ingredients

  • Good marrow bones 12
  • Bouquet garni 1
  • Onion studded with 4 cloves

Method

  1. Boil a large quantity of water, adding the bouquet garni and the onion. Plunge the bones into the water for about 30 minutes (they are ready when the tip of a knife can pierce the marrow).
  2. Toast the slices of bread and snip the chives.
  3. Spread the bread with hot marrow, add a little sea salt and chives, and give the bones to the dog!
