  • 12 ripe fresh plum tomatoes
  • 4 garlic cloves, peeled
  • sea salt and freshly ground black pepper


Preheat the oven to 120°C/250°F/Gas ½.

Slice the tomatoes in half lengthways, and scoop out the seeds. Crush the garlic with a little salt to a smooth paste. Add the basil and some black pepper.
