  • 1 ciabatta loaf
  • 1 kg (2.¼ lb) ripe fresh plum tomatoes (they must have a strong flavour)<

Method

Preheat the oven to 240°C/475°F/Gas 9, or the highest it will go.

Roughly tear the loaf into eighths and place on a baking tray. Bake in the oven until dry and toasted on the outside, but soft
