This is a very simple first course which can be further embellished with a little diced cucumber or small cubes of fried potato. Because the dish is so soft and silky, a little added texture can be nice. I happen to like it the way it is without any other intrusion. Of course you could serve this as a main dish. If this is the case, then the only possible accompaniment is a dish of steaming hot boiled potatoes.
