The first time I ate this was on my first trip to California. It was in San Francisco, at Wolfgang Puck’s fifth restaurant, called Postrio. In fact, the original recipe comes from Nancy Silverton who now has a restaurant in Los Angeles called Campanile. Nancy was one of Wolfgang Puck’s first pastry chefs and is an innovative cook in this field.
