Almond soup was a favourite in our home growing up. The only difference between then and today is access to a very specific type of almond that comes from the kernel of an apricot fruit rather than the fruit of the almond tree itself, which we buy in North America. I prepared the recipe after recreating it from my memory, on request, and it is now ready for us to enjoy as best we can!
