  • 1 quart buttermilk


Place the buttermilk in its unopened carton in a deep pot and fill the pot with water. Bring to a boil, then boil gently for 30 minutes. Remove from the heat but leave the carton of buttermilk in the water. The next morning, open the carton and turn the contents out into a colander. The whey will quickly drain off and tvorog will be left. Store in the refrigerator.
