You need plain white eggs, either hard-boiled or emptied by blowing out the contents through a pinhole at either end. For the wax, you need some candle ends, plain and/or colored, and a pin (a lace-pin with a big head is best). Stick the pin into a soft stick or a cork to make a handle. Or tie a pen nib to a stick.

  1. Melt the wax gently, keeping each color separate.
