This wholesome, creamy and nutritious chutney is lovely spread on toast, and also works well as a dip with carrot sticks. I particularly like to layer it on the soft spongy squares of steamed Dhokla.

Ingredients

  • 1 avocado (about 90 g/3 oz)
  • 25 g (

Method

Place all the ingredients in a blender or food processor and blend to form a smooth paste. Taste and add extra salt or lime as required.

This will keep for 3–4 weeks in an airtight container in the fridge.
