Ingredients

  • ¼ cup raisins, plumped in hot water to cover for 15 minutes, not drained
  • 1 ½ cups tomato puree

Method

In a blender or food processor, combine all the ingredients and puree. Transfer to a small saucepan and simmer for 20 minutes until thickened. Serve warm or at room temperature. Store, covered in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
