Playtime in the kitchen. This looks fiddly but really isn’t because: a) I’m a clumsy so and so incapable of doing ‘fiddly’, and b) you can do most of it in advance. It is so worth the effort – a salad of contrasts in temperature and texture and colour. It would make a good starter, or better still an impressive salad to serve alongside a simple cut of meat or piece of fish.
