  • ½ cup unsalted butter, at room temperature
  • 1 cup chopped mixed fresh herbs such as parsley, chervil, thyme


Combine the butter, herbs, garlic, lemon zest, and mustard in a food processor and process until fairly well blended so that there is still a little texture in the herbs. Season to taste with salt, lemon juice, and pepper.
