This unusual pie is from New England and upstate New York, where the Concord grape was originally developed and most are grown. It’s a pie that deserves to be better known, and with the new interest in old foods, perhaps it will be. Concord grapes are roundly sweet, like a dead-ripe blackberry, and in fact, this pie does remind me of berry pies.
