Although its dark appearance suggests something that’s healthy but a little dull, this confection is quite luscious. It can be made in moments in the food processor, and the finished sweetmeat will keep for several weeks if well wrapped and refrigerated.

Ingredients

  • cup shelled blanched or unpeeled almonds
  • ½ pound black, Medjool or a mixture of different kinds of dates

Method
