  • ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
  • ½ cup vegetable shortening
  • 1 cup

Method

Heat the oven to 375° F. Spray sandbakkel tins (see Sources) with nonstick cooking spray.

Beat the butter and shortening in a large mixer bowl with electric mixer on medium speed until creamy. Add sugar gradually and beat until well mixed.
