This is a super simple little salad and I feel it really shows off the mackerel. Smoked mackerel is jam-packed with flavour, so combining it with only a few ingredients allows it to be a real star. This is the sort of dish you can pull together for a quick lunch with whatever you have in the fridge. Smoked mackerel is traditionally hot smoked over oak chips; you can also find peppered mackerel that would work well for this recipe.
