  • About

The Arbroath smokie is a spectacular Scottish delicacy, and one of very few foods in Scotland that has Protected Geographical Indication (PGI) status. This gives the smokie protection from impersonators; Arbroath smokies can only be made within 5 miles of Arbroath! This recipe does not tell you how to make a smokie at home but rather how to heat one up; you can prepare the smokie in advance, keep it in the fridge and then heat it up when you’re ready.
