I still have no idea why Pigs in Blankets are only allowed at Christmas. Along with mincemeat, I am planning a petition to make these yearlong food celebrations! Until then, I am tucking my well-wrapped pigs into a classic Toad in the Hole recipe. Could this be the greatest crossover of two wonderfully named dishes ever? Muc is the Gaelic for a pig – and this dish is double the pig and double the love.
