These bread rolls are a combination of softness from the dough and sweetness from the carrots. The oats give it a rustic texture. They are perfect to serve with a bowl of hearty soup for lunch.

Ingredients

  • 350 ml ( cups) lukewarm water
  • teaspoons fast-action dried yeast

Method

Stir the water and yeast together in a large mixing bowl until the yeast has dissolved. Add 350 g (12½ oz) of the flour and the salt, mixing quickly to form a dough. Turn out onto a lightly floured s
