  • 200 ml balsamic vinegar


In a small pan over a medium heat, bring the balsamic to a boil then lower to a simmer for 5 to 7 minutes, until the vinegar has reduced by about half and is thick enough to coat the back of a spoon. It will thicken more as it cools. Transfer to a jar while warm if making in advance.
