Avocado & Citrus Salad with Chimichurri

While this salad might make you think of summer sunshine, it’s actually in season in the early winter and through the spring. Avocados are local in California until early winter, well into the start of citrus season, and they return around early March, before citrus leaves us for another year. This is a lovely salad to enjoy when you’d like a pop of brightness among the rather rich flavors of the winter.
