At Greens, we have always loved wild rice, which is not actually a rice at all, but rather a type of aquatic grass. Since our collaboration dinner with Native American chef Crystal Wahpepah, we’ve come to love it and appreciate it even more. For this special dinner, she brought us a particular kind of wild rice that is still harvested by the Red Lake Nation by hand in canoes.
