Biryani is a dish I love and order frequently when I dine out, but has always been something that seemed like a bit too much work to make at home. This simplified version is weeknight approved and doesn’t skimp on any of the flavor.
Heat the olive oil in a large sauce pot. Add the garlic, ginger, and jalapeño together over medium-high heat for 3 to 5 minutes, until fragrant and starting to stick.
