Gochujang is a fermented Korean chilli paste with an amazingly umami flavour profile and a deep, smoky heat. It perks up almost anything. Keep a tub of it in the fridge and a supermarket pack of prawns in the freezer and be rewarded with this juicy, spicy, pro-level snack which can be further enhanced by a big bowl of Gochujang Aioli for dipping. Add some sticky rice and stir-fried greens and you’ve got dinner.
