Roasted peanuts from roadside stalls always tasted so good, but you can make them just as well at home.
Place the salt in a wok in a well-ventilated kitchen or outside on a barbecue flat plate. Cook over high heat until the salt begins to crackle. Be very careful not to touch the crackling salt as by this stage it will be over 300°C (570°F).
Add the peanuts to the salt and stir continuously for 5 minutes or until the skins become crisp and a roasted peanut aroma develops.
