Payaasam

My memories of this dish come from Fiji, not Sri Lanka. Karen and I worked on beautiful Vatulele Island for more than two years and during that time we made some wonderful friends. The construction crew were of Indian descent from Tamil Nadu in southern India and their food was very similar to ours.
