Manchow soup is another classic Indo-Chinese dish that was invented on Indian soil by Chinese immigrants. The ‘chow’ refers to crispy noodles that sit on top of the soup, adding crunch for an extra textural dimension. The soup is full of flavour and guaranteed to warm you up throughout the winter months.

Method

  1. Begin by preparing the crispy noodles. Boil them according to the packet instructions – usually 3 or 4 minutes – then drain and spread out on a sheet of baking paper to dry.
