Method

  1. To make the homemade dough, combine the flour, salt and baking powder in a food processor and pulse several times. Add the butter and pulse. Add the egg and pulse. Add the ice water, a little at a time, and mix for 20 seconds until the dough is just holding together but has not yet formed a ball. Gather the mixture with your hands and roll out on a cool, floured surface
