  • About

This is the main ingredient in tahini Sauce, as well as Minted Beet Salad and Red Cabbage Slaw with tahini Dressing, to name a few. If kept in a tightly sealed jar in the refrigerator it can last up to 3 months.

Ingredients

  • 4 tablespoons sesame seeds
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • ¼ teaspoon<

Method

  1. Pour the sesame seeds into a blender or food processor and grind until smooth.
  2. Add the oil and salt. Process until combined.
  3. With the blades engaged, add the water in a very slow, steady stream and blend until smooth. Check to make sure that you are adding just the right amount of water so that the mixture is not runny but has a pasty consistency. Sto
